Cacao Overnight Oats-DESSERT FOR BREAKFAST!
/If you guys know me at all, you know that I am absolutely obsessed with this recipe. Seriously, I cannot get enough. Cacao Overnight Oats!
These are delicious, filling, and truly like eating dessert for breakfast. In addition, they are gluten and dairy free (and don’t tell anyone but they are healthy too. Shhh!).
Make these the night before and then simply pull them out of the refrigerator in the morning.
I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do. Be sure to tag me on Instagram @happyhealinvegan if you recreate this recipe.
Cacao Overnight Oats
(3 servings)
Ingredients:
2 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk (I prefer almond)
4 pitted Medjool dates
1 Tbsp. raisins
4-5 Tbsp. cacao powder
2-3 cups gluten free oats
1 container of fresh blueberries (preferably organic)
1 large banana
any additional toppings (strawberries, hemp seeds, walnuts, etc.)
Directions:
In a high speed blender, blend the non-dairy milk, banana, dates, raisins and cacao powder.
Once you have a liquid consistency, add your oats. Stir until they are completely saturated.
Stir in the blueberries.
Pour mixture into mason jars or bowls.
Place in the refrigerator for at least one hour or overnight.
Remove it from the refrigerator, add any additional toppings and enjoy!
