Sale Ranch Sanctuary
Sale Ranch Sanctuary believes that “animals are living, breathing, beautiful beings who are someone, not ‘something’ “. Their mission “is to rescue, rehabilitate and educate on their behalf while promoting a cruelty-free lifestyle.”
They are “a non-profit sanctuary offering forever homes to animals who have been neglected, abused or discarded. Many of the sweet souls at SRS were rescued within hours of either being euthanized or sent to slaughter.” Once healed and healthy they connect the animals and “their stories to help the foster children in our community to heal.”
They “believe bringing awareness to the plight of factory farmed animals will help create a more compassionate and kinder future for all beings on the planet.”

Farm Animal Refuge
Farm Animal Refuge provides care to “neglected/abused/ unwanted farm animals while educating public on the benefits of compassionate living and a plant based diet.” They are located in East County San Diego and offer tours/events that give the public the opportunity to get to know their pigs, cows, goats, sheep and dogs.
