My Top 5 Tips for Going Vegan✨

1️⃣Remember Your Why. There will be times when you will be tempted to eat animal products or to give up. Remembering your why will give you the motivation to push through. Be sure to post pictures or quotes about your why everywhere: on your refrigerator, on your phone, on your mirror.

2️⃣It is absolutely okay to go slow! Yes, I would absolutely love it if everyone went vegan overnight, but I find that clients that take a slower approach last with it for a longer amount of time. We have a lot of conditioning and habbits to break through. Start where you need to start.

3️⃣It is absolutely okay if you mess up. Mistakes are going to happen. Don't beat yourself up. Just get back on board with your next meal. Progress over perfection.

4️⃣Repeat after me: carbs are not the enemy! When you are vegan, it is important to focus on fiber and healthy carbs to sustain your energy. Load up on whole grains, legumes, fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds.

5️⃣Get support. Make the transition with a friend or family member, join a Meetup or Facebook group or hire a coach. The journey will be so much more fun this way.
