I am super excited for Fall and for the approaching holiday season. I have two events coming up that will help us all feel more healthy, happy and confident for those family pictures and gatherings.
The first is one that everyone, all over the world, can participate in. I am running a “Fall in Love with Fitness” online challenge. It will consist of short workouts that can be done from the comfort of your own bedroom (I personally love to workout in my pajamas). It is only $25.00 for the entire two weeks and starts on November 5th!
The second event is for all of my local friends. I am co-hosting a “Fall in Love with Food” Vegan Cooking Class on November 8th from 6:00-7:30pm. During the class we will eat a 5 course meal (including wine) and will learn some basic cooking skills. Everyone will leave with a recipe packet so that you can make these amazing meals at home (and for those holiday gatherings). The entire evening is only $55.00/person. *Please note that you absolutely do not have to be vegan to attend.

Hello everyone and happy Fitness Friday!
Do you ever think about exercising your inner thighs?! I find that I tend to ignore the inner thighs and they are such an important part of our body. We all want lean legs, but did you know that because the upper legs are such large muscles, that you burn a ton of calories when you work them?
Here are two of my favorite exercises for those inner thighs. You can incorporate them into other strength/cardio workouts or can perform them on their own.
Exercise 1: Sumo squat jacks with a cross. Start in a low Sumo squat, jump together, crossing one foot in front of the other. Repeat and cross the opposite leg in front this time. Try to perform this exercise for 30 seconds-1 minute (3 times through).
Exercise 2: Inner thigh lifts. Sitting down, turn out one leg and lift it to the opposite hand. Try to think about the inner thigh doing the work. Perform 10-15 repetitions on each leg (3 times though).

For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you know that I post a “Move of the Week” every Monday. Today I have put all of the “Moves of the Week” from January into one full body workout. It is a quick workout (only 6 minutes long!), and is extremely effective.

Now that the holiday is over, I wanted to tell you about my upcoming Fitness and Nutrition Challenge. I am incredibly excited about this one because I have joined forces with a great friend and fellow personal trainer, Kale. In addition to being a fabulous trainer, Kale also has a vast knowledge of the psychology behind working out as well as about nutrition.
Our challenge starts this Monday, July 10th and we are offering two different components: fitness and nutrition. The fitness portion (which costs as little as only 1 personal training session!) will include 4 weeks of online workouts, accountability, support and health tips from both trainers. The nutrition component will include all of this plus grocery store lists, recipes (vegan and non vegan), cooking demos, portion control, and sample menu plans.
