Now that the holiday is over, I wanted to tell you about my upcoming Fitness and Nutrition Challenge. I am incredibly excited about this one because I have joined forces with a great friend and fellow personal trainer, Kale. In addition to being a fabulous trainer, Kale also has a vast knowledge of the psychology behind working out as well as about nutrition.
Our challenge starts this Monday, July 10th and we are offering two different components: fitness and nutrition. The fitness portion (which costs as little as only 1 personal training session!) will include 4 weeks of online workouts, accountability, support and health tips from both trainers. The nutrition component will include all of this plus grocery store lists, recipes (vegan and non vegan), cooking demos, portion control, and sample menu plans.

Although my new blog will have an emphasis on Veganism and animal compassion, I will still offer fitness, nutrition, health, Lyme Disease information and positivity. There is still plenty of good stuff coming your way, without being interested in a vegan lifestyle.

Something that has always been a struggle for me is finding a good mix between my diet and my HUGE compassion for animals. I would turn to a vegan diet and then freak out about the lack of protein with my active lifestyle (I have now learned that vegans can absolutely get all of the protein they need).
There were definitely moments and lately, a huge turning point in my life that lead me to kick meat out of my diet for good. Check out what these moments were and “Why I Became Vegan (for the final time!)” in the video below.

If you have been following my story, you read that I changed my Lyme Disease treatment protocol about a month ago. Here is a quick update on the things that I have learned, the foods and supplements that I have incorporated and how I have been feeling. Thank you all for the continued support and love.

It is almost the end of January and I know that so many of us had a New Year’s Resolution to eat a healthier diet. Were you one of these people but honestly didn’t know where to start?! I know that it can be so confusing and I am here for you.
